Summer kids crafts -50 CRAFTS

 

One weekend when I get the chance I want to make a project/craft with Kaleb. I have always enjoyed projects and I hope that Kaleb carries the "love of art" trait from me.

 

 

 

 

One of my favorite crafts is making concrete stepping stones!

 

 

I would love to try and melt crayons for him!

Lake, Our Dogs, Prayer Requests

One more work day and it will be the weekend!!! ( I am more than excited)

Memorial Day Weekend is just right around the corner and I hope that everyone has a wonderful safe weekend!! I am looking forward to relaxing at the lake with my family. Our lake house at Lay Lake was built by my granddaddy and every time I got there I think about him and how much he is missed! We have had good times there and I am thankful and blessed to make more memories there with my little family! Granddaddy would adore Kaleb!!

I don't know who has told Kaleb we were going to the lake , but DANG he keeps telling me " momma, yake..water.. GO" Poor baby.. Just one more work day and we will head towards the "Yake"

I got a chance to take a cute picture of Charlie and Glory together again in almost the same spot when we first got her =) They are so precious!!

I have been interested in cooking something different for our dinners lately. I get tired of the same recipes.. A friend of mine told me to try Salmon. Jake loves Salmon. One of his favs.

So here it is. Looks great in the pictures. Smelled wonderful.Super Easy. I could NOT eat it. Baked fish was not for me. You however might like it and think differently.

Fresh Salmon

Salt and Pepper

Slices of Lemon and Lime

Topped with Dill Weed.

Serve it with rice and a veggie. You have yourself a meal. =)

Prayer Request

I haven't done this in awhile. Please keep these in your thoughts and prayers this week.

1. Baby Mason Grant entered the world yesterday at 11:13 am. Such a beautiful healthy little boy! Prayers for him and his family.

2.  Unspoken Request for me.

3. Jeffcoat & Associates. We are looking to hire 1 office person and 5 techs. Help needed ASAP. We are so busy this time of the year.

4. Target Pest Control. To keep being #1 in the 2013 Business Magazine!

5. For all the Veteran's that have served our Country. God Bless America!



PCB 2013

Last week we had an opportunity to have our family beach trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. I had to work that Monday but we headed south that Tuesday on my Birthday =) Happy 26th birthday to Me!! I actually share my birthday with my sister , Anna, and her husband, Alex. So we made this trip our family beach/birthday/Me and Jake family time all in one! It was so much fun we had a blast!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and to be able to have relaxing summer vacation!!

 

Kaleb loved the sand!! He could dig and build castles all day if I let him.The ocean was extremely cold so we didn't swim but we did play a good bit in the pool! He was so cute jumping off the side of the pool wanting his Daddy to catch him! He is getting so big!

 

I can't wait to go back!!

One night we went to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville to eat .. SO GOOD! Kaleb was being silly! They have little wax stings that you can mold into objects and Jake had made him glasses to wear! =) Also they wake around and make balloon animals for the kids and have a show during dinner! really great place if you haven't tryed it, you should!!

After dinner we walked through Pier Park and let Kaleb ride the Carousal and of course the Train!

Then after the rides we walked the Pier to see some fish.. Look at this view!

I think it was Thursday night we went and ate at the Boatyard. Amazing food! I had shrimp and grits, yum! Kaleb loved the boats! He was getting upset though he couldn't ride them.. so we left in a hurry so he would disturb others =)

 

 

 

I am upset at myself for not getting a picture of all of us together but we have wonderful memories and that is was counts!

 

 

 

 

 

Lately

 

What I am LOVING right now

 

1. Fishing with my hunny. He make me so happy and moments like this last forever! So calm and peaceful! WE DIDNT CATCH A SINGE FISH, HA! LAST TIME WE WENT TOGETHER

 

2. Flowers!! Spring/summer time is my absolute favorite time of the year!!

 

3. Playing outside! The weather lately has been PERFECT and as soon as we all get home in the afternoon we immediately want to play Ball, or ride in the Daddy's boat!

 

4. This little boy. Auh how I love him! and his little attitude spells!

 

5. The other day Jake started planting his Garden for the year.. Corn, Squash, cucumber, peppers of all kinds, and tomatoes. We usually have alot more of a variety but this year we are keeping it simple. Last night Jake built a fence around the garden to keep Charlie out. Hyper is a understatement for her. ha!

 

But so cute!!

 

6. This work week is almost over and it will be the weekend!! Thank Goodness!

 

7. Getting Emails of our confirmation for the beach next week!! WHOoWHoo  I am so excited and anxious for our little family Vacation!! Much needed!! Ill post beach pics when I can!
