See the Difference?

I am so thrilled that I will get to meet my new neice or nephew in a matter of days hours!!

Anna went for her last regular 39 weeks appointment this morning. They checked her out and said she was ready to go! They said her progress was great and her water could break any minute! They sent her home to get some more rest and said to be back up to the hospital at 8 tonight to be induced! They will more than likely break her water for her at 5 in the morning if she doesnt do it herself.

Tomorrow I will be announcing if it is

 a boy- Cael Alexander Jones or

a Girl - Ella Ruby Jones (I am so crossing my fingers for a girl)

I know, I know, I look disgusting!! and Fat and Swollen!! I thought then that I looked pretty pregnant but looking on it now.. I looked dreadful!! haha
I gained 31 pounds during my pregnancy and had a 7 lb 4 oz baby.

This is a picture of Anna at 39 weeks. Doesnt she look amazing!! No swelling, No giant Nose.. and No acne!

She has gained 28 pounds during her pregnancy.
 

splish splash, office project and prayers!

 We had a wonderful busy weekend. I had to share this (embarrassing when he is older picture) of him taking a bath! I love all of this serious faces. I think in more than half of all our pictures he doesn't smile. But I promise he does and is really happy! In the picture he is holding his tooth brush. He loves to chew on it!
These days or rather mornings after Jake leaves for work, He sits with me in the bathroom so I can finish getting ready for work. While he sits there he either brushes his teeth or combs his hair. He has also discovered the light switch and turns the lights on and off a million times and thinks its hilarious! =)

I am excited to share a new little project I have up my sleeve! Jake wants his work office decorated! So I have permission to do whatever I want! Ha! He looked at me yesterday and ask " your not going to make it girlie are you??" NEVER!

 Jake is a huge Georgia Bulldog fan and I wanted to find something for his office without paying alot for it! So I decided to make my own prints! I found these silhouettes of this bulldog and the state of Georgia.  I can't wait to see how these turn out and show ya!

I had heard that there was going to be around 25 families doing a huge yard sale over the weekend. I immediately made a list of some items I wanted to look for for his office. We got up Saturday morning and went to them. Turns out I didn't get all the stuff I wanted because they didn't have that much stuff. But I did find a lamp and an old rustic lantern ( really neat) and a bulletin board.

I then decided to go through my parents basement and see what I could use.

I found a pedestal thing that I am putting a fake plant on, and I also found a side table that I am going to paint/or stain to put the lamp on.

I cant wait to share the finished results of his office!



I have some prayer requests this morning. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers this week.

1. Green Family - Lost sweet Noah last week at 18 weeks. I cant imagine what they are going through right now. I know they need strength during this hard time and I pray they will find peace and understanding.

2. Miller Family- Friend of ours has a hurt foot. Should be coming home this week from the hospital but will be bed ridden until it is well. He just looked into Gastric Bypass Surgery to loose the weight off his foot , But now is waiting on this to heal before going down that road.

3. Jones Family- my sister is due any time now. Contractions were 10 minutes apart yesterday. If she doesnt deliever before wednesday they will induce. I pray for smooth delievery and healthy baby!

4. Johnson Family- little boy Ethan has a bacterial infection that has inflammed his little boy parts. This random infection has cause a high fever and severe pain. Please pray for fast recovery.

SUMMER LOVIN

I absolutely love Summer time!! Snow cones, hot dogs, the beach, the lake, flip flops and tan lines!!

Really anywhere but Work. Take me outside and I am one happy girl! =)

This and That

This is not Kaleb but an illustration on how I feel!

Today Kaleb is getting his first hair cut!!! OMG I think I just may tear up. My baby is so not a baby, but a little boy! auh! Jake is taking him to a "barber shop" and having some good ol' daddy and son time. He told me that he was NOT getting his hair cut in a "salon"  I keep reminding Jake to make sure they don't just buzz the heck out of his hair, but just trim it. I want to keep his hair .. But I know it is crazy wild hair and hangs in his face allot. It is time for a trim. =) I cant wait to get home this afternoon and see my little man!

Tomorrow I am off work. I am getting some projects done for Fathers Day and we are also getting our last session of pictures made with Taylor Haynie Photography.  She is SO great. I have absolutely fell in love with the last pictures and I cant wait to see how these turn out! We are taking them at Oak Mountain State Park. This weekend is also the year anniversary of the death of dear Friend of mine. I cant believe it has been a year. She is dearly missed. Please keep thisfamily in your prayers this weekend. I know it will be hard. I pray they will be not saddened but rejoice her being in Heaven.

Do you remember the Date Doctor??!! Well I wanted to give an update on that. I am so excited to annouce that he has met someone!! Alll becuase of yours truely. This relationship is just starting out and they have been on 3 dates.  so far so good! I am so excited he is happy and that I was apart of this sweet relationship! Cant wait to see where it ends up!! =)

This weekend will be a busy one! I hope everyone has a safe and fun Fathers Day Weekend! Make sure you tell your Dad how much you love them!!

14months

Wow I can't believe my little buggers is 14 months already.

You have changed so much. I think you look a little more like me , and less like your daddy.

You are amazing. I love you sooo much!!

Your so smart. You do new things all the time. You watch me do something and want to try. You crack me up trying to turn on the TV with the remote. You also like to help me with vacuuming. You think the machine is hilarious. You help me push it around.

You are Glory's best and worst friend. Ha. You are a little pest! She loves you but can only take so much of you!

You weights and height is about the same. You don't go back to the doctor until next month. By then I hope to get you officially off the bottle. Right now you refuse. You love your zippy cup but not with milk in it.



I love it when I have my sweet bed time with you.. You don't like to be cuddled anymore and as soon as you get done with your bottle you throw it down , and put your hands behind your head. You don't last long being still , but I cherish every sec. of it!


You a full time walker for sure. In fact your little legs want to run!!you are so fun and keep me going! Your new favorite thing is being outside. You constantly want to be out there, but it is so hot! We just recently bought you a play lawn mower that blows bubbles. You get mad when the bubbles don't work! But you love it because you love pushing things and because you get to cut grass like daddy!

FATHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS

Fathers Day is right around the corner. ( not this sunday but the next) I have been brain storming this afternoon on ideas. If I dont pick something now and buy it , seems like I'll never get to it!

My usual fathers day gift is either a gift card or tie or last year I gave picture frames.

SUYL home tour

Today I am linking up with kellys Korner and show us your life home tours. Today is living room. My living room has been transformed since we first bought it. Before the tornado our living room was a red barn color and the theme throughout that room and the kitchen was roosters and a country feel. I loved it but my taste changes often and I love it even more now!!!

I hate what happened to our house but we are blessed to have a beautiful clean new space. We put down hardwood flooring throughout. I so recommend them. Love them beyond words. We also brought in two different chairs and made more room for people to sit. We both have 6 or more people on both sides of our family. Now we can sit 6 people more comfortable I think.

There is nothing fancy about my home. But I love it. It's homey. I love homes that make you feel at home instead of a hotel. Not that I don't love modern high class looking homes...but you know what I mean. There is nothing like being home, sitting on your own couch, watching your own TV. By the way , Jake's favorite thing about our living room is the TV and surround system. He has a million movies and is obsessed with buying and watching more!!

The entry way is a gray color. It holds my favorite piece of furniture. This was in my moms kitchen before she got new cabinets. And before that it was my dads grandmothers. Very old, very cute! I keep cook books and nick knacks in it.

 Also in the foyer is a bible verse that means the world to me. I had vinyl letters made for me and I found this frame at a consignment shop for little to nothing.

Next to it in the corner, I have a candle hanging holder that I love from Willow House.

Updates

So Friday my friend Jennifer had a little get together gender party for her and her husband to find out what there having. They had hotdogs and chips for us to eat and then after everyone got to the house they sliced into a cake to find out the color inside. Edgers bakery did such a great job on the cake and it was Delicious!! 

I am proud to announce them having a little Boy!! She is doing so good and looking co cute! I cant wait to meet the little guy!

Also, Update on Anna. She went to the doctor last week and everything checked out great! She is making progress too! She is thinned and to one centimeter!! That baby is ready to hatch! I cant wait to meet  it and find out what it is!

I went to the doctor this morning about my random eye twitch. Ha ,silly I know! He told me everything I already knew. It is due to stress and fatigue. My blood pressure was low and the nurse was making sure that I was alive. Yes, I'm still here! =) He told me that I am the only person that can make myself feel better. Which is true. I need to manage my time better. He said I need to eat better, Sleep better, and change my schedule around to where I feel better and I am not stressing and thinking all the time. This case is totally normal and my eyes will be fine. But I defiantly need to chill out and go on a vacation!! =)

This weekend Kaleb was with his Nana and Bigdaddy. He had a great time with them on the lake but I missed him sooo much!! I was so glad to get him back yesterday! I couldn't stop loving on him!! We got a good bit done at the house while he was gone. Jake replace the boards on the back porch and made some gates for kaleb so he wont walk down the steps. It looks so good!! he did a great job!! I painted the front porch railings and the columns. They look much better too! Along with all the hard work we did reward ourselves with two date nights =) We went to the movies Friday night after the reveal party. We saw the Avengers. It was great! Also, we went out Saturday night with some Friends at Cajun Steamers in Hoover. That place is totally worth the wait! Their sea food is outstanding! Sunday we slept in and cleaned the house up before K man came back. Jake and I are so thankful for such great family to help watch Kaleb for us. We defiantly needed time to ourselves and time to finish up some projects!
