update

So last Thursday we get a call from our state farm rep. He informs us the following...

Since we can now get the power back on the house, ( because the county will issue us a permit) State Farm says we have to be in our house by Oct. 1st. Or at least on paper the construction and power should be on by Oct. 1st. After this day they will now allow any more rent money or supplemental claims.
Really????? Is the legal?

How in the world can they refuse giving us any more money? What if we find hidden damage?? What if our house blows up??

I did not agree with this discussion. There was no way I would live in a house with a 4 and a half month old during construction. He told me that he was sorry and that we would finish that conversation later closer to Oct. 1st if that was still an issue. Otherwise it was up to us to get started and get started quickly.

TOTALLY SUCKS! But bitter sweet, because I WANT to be HOME so BAD!

SO as of right now, we have a permit to get started. This weekend we started on the work . We got rid of most of the vinyl siding and ripped up the bushes and cut the grass. Soon we will take off the roof and start building the new porch and screened in porch before the new roof goes on. So excited for this .. i just hope and pray it goes smoothly!!

More Babies!!

Ok, so I am not sure why I havent done this post earlier but thats ok Im doing it now!

I am so proud to say that Both my sister N laws are pregnant!!

Jake and I and Kaleb get two new babis in our family! Kaleb is so excited to get 2 new cousins!

Heather is about 15 weeks pregnant and her due date is February 5 ... Give or take a few days ( becuase you never know when the precious bundle of joy decides to come)
SHe is doing great and everything is progressing like it should be! Jake and I are so happy that she is having a baby. I know she had been wanting to be a mother for some time now. Motherhood is the best experience ever and I am so glad she gets to experience that. Congrats Heather , we love you!!


Kacie is about 13 weeks pregnant. They say her due date is March 5th. She has not had a ultrasound yet but she has heard the heartbeat. I am so happy for her and so happy that her pregnancy is going great! I cant wait to see the ultrasound becuase she has twins that run in her family and I'm anxious to see if she is having twins!

Everyday I think about the new mothers out there. Some of my friends are young moms like me, and others are pregnant just like my family members. Babies are a gift from God. A miricle. Angels. I love babies! I pray everyday for those out there who are pregnant or want to be pregnant! May the lord bless you with a beautiful baby! I know that my child has made me a different person and I have a different outlook on life and every moment with him is precious to my heart.

Drum Roll Please...

Yesterday was Kalebs 4 month doctors visit. He is 4 months and 4 days old. I had to work yesterday and so my mom went and got him from the daycare and have him dressed and fed before the doctor. My mom went with me since Jake had to work. Thankfully i had alittle help beucase carrying my stuff, diaper bag and a baby and signing paper work for the doctor is a task. ha!
So we get there and the nurse says " go ahead and take his clothes off but leave the diaper". We go over to the scale to get his head and weight and length checked... and DRUM ROLL PLEASE... He weighs 17 pds and 1 oz! I was right! even though he fells like he weighs 30 pounds !! hahaha The doctor said that he was 50 out of 70 in his head.. and 75% out of 100% in length and weight. THey said he was a growing healthy boy! They want us to start feeding him baby food in a few weeks! which i am super excited! they also didnt give us a prescription for his reflux.. they said he would grow out of it. so more laundry duty for me!! He also got 4 shots yesterday too. The first one he didnt cry but the other 3 he was terrified! he cried so hard! I felt so bad for my little buddy!

After the visit we went home for the afternoon and Jake was already off work by this time. He got to help me with Kaleb and so that I could eat supper really quick. I had to run to a Willow House meeting. Jake was the babysitter for the night and man did he have a crazy hour. Poor kaleb was screaming he hurt so bad and wanted his momma. Jake said he tried everything ( swinging, holding, rockings, feeding, burping, changing clothes, diapers, everything!!) I got a text from Jake about 7:15 and it said " this is no ordinary scream.. need you asap" .. i got in my car as fast as i could. As soon as I got Kaleb in my arms he stopped crying. Poor baby wanted his momma. Mommas make everything so much better dont we?? that moment made my heart melt. I love him and he loves me. =) I will always rememeber that moment.

ANyways.. Off to work I go. Got a busy work day. I have alot of task I want to accomplish. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Happy 4 Month Baby Kaleb!!

You are my heart! I love you more and more each day! I am looking foward to seeing you grow more and learn new things!

Yesterday on my lunch break I went to Target and bought him a jumper. The daycare he goes to has little toys like a jumper and he sits it in great and loves it. I didnt think he was ready for this new stage.. but apparently I was wrong. I wanted my little boy to stay little and the little sucker is grown longer and fatter every day! Ha! My best friend Ginny calls him " Big Love" .( from Rick and Bubba) So, I grab my gift cards and coupons and off to Target I go! Once Jake set it up, we got the video cam out and taped Kaleb in it for the first time. He was precious and absolutly loved it! He was amazed at the lights and the sounds it was making. =)

he goes to the doctor this up-coming monday. I cant wait to see exackly how much he weighs and how good he is growing!

favorite activity:
He loves to be in his bouncer right now. Especially if its sitting in front of the TV. He could watch Cartoons all day!

Milestones:
He has laughed for the first time this past week! He is so darn cute when he laughs and will light up the room when he smiles =)
He hasnt rolled over yet.. but I swear if he could craw.. he would. We had him on tummy time the other night and he was full force trying to crawl.. amazing!
I think he may sit in the floor and play with toys before he rolls over. He loves sitting up and looking around and everything. Very content baby!
We feed him with a spoon now. Cerel right now. after the doctor we will try something new =)

Weight: I think he weights 17 pounds. We will see after Monday for sure.

Stay-Cation

HI ALL,

I have been gone for a week. I was at home ( no computer) having the time of my life with my wonderful little cuddle bug. I wanted to take a weeks vacation from work so I could spend time with Kaleb before he went to Daycare full time. Sad but he had to go. Monday we went to visit the daycare to make sure all paper work was final.. I left the office cring. I am so scared that he will get sick all the time. There are so many germs. Hopefully they will clean well and get all germs out! Tuesday and Wednesday we hung out and I did chores around the house. Thursday I had lunch with my friends and Kaleb got to see them too. I love having good lunch dates =). I forget everything we got to do together this week becuase my week was a blur. I had so much to accomplish but at the same time, have fun with Kaleb. I absolutly loved playing with him. He is such a good baby and I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Today is my first day back at work . I am having trouble focusing on work, just becuase i want to be holding my cuddle bug. =) Please pray for my little one in daycare.
