Gulf Coast 2014

 

We had such an amazing time at Gulf Shores last week. It was a much needed time off from work! Jake's whole family and I got to spend a week at Pheniox Condos on the beach.  If you have never stayed there before its really nice! But I will say, the elevators were slow, becuase there is only 4 per the entire building! The lazy river and pool space makes up for the slow elevators though!

Kaleb loved the pool area I think more than the beach. He never swam in the ocean... I dont blame him for not wanting too becuase I dont really like it either. As long as he swam in the pool, he was happy happy. Lilly Kate enjoyed her first time in a float as well! She absolutly loves watching her big brother, and big brother loves it too!!

 

 

4th of July Pictures

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!Jake wasnt able to be with the family during the day on the 4th .. but we were happy to have him back with us to watch fireworks that night!

Here are some pictures that were taken really quick before we went out to watch fireworks... There are so many precious/funny moments that I wished I had my camera or video camera out to snap of the kids but I know I cant capture every moment!

 

4 months

Our baby girl is getting so big =) we'll I think she is anyway... her stats at the doctor were:

weight: 13 pounds 8 ounces

length: 22.5
so really... she is a tiny 4 month old =)

Compare her to her cousin Tucker and all the babies in the nursery at school... they are ALL bigger than her. The teacher lays the babies down for tummy time and they steam roll her right over! BLESS her! she is so tiny.. but full of LOVE! 

Her smile just lights up her face and is my world right now. I absolutely love seeing that sweet face and hearing her talk and laugh with her family!

Right now she is in 3-6 size clothes / some 6 months depending on the brand

size 2 diapers but I think we are close to being in a size 3 because of her little rolls and belly. 

Still a great sleeper and sleeps all night. My alarm goes off at 5:15 every morning so I wake her to feed her. Otherwise on a weekend , she would sleep till 6-7.

The is still all Breast-milk * makes me so happy I am able to keep up with her *

She has just got the "ok" from the pediatrician to start rice cereal and stage 1 baby food if we wanted.

You enjoy watching Kaleb play in the yard. I can swing you on the front porch and still keep an eye on what Kaleb is playing. Most afternoons you are naked becuase you spit up on everything!
