Beach Trip

Hello Blog! I have been away at the beach all week and I am just now getting to you!

We had so much fun last week in Gulf Shores, AL. If you haven't been you need too! The weather was alittle cloudy/rainy most days.. but that didn't stop us from sitting on the beach! I am so happy that we got to spend time with the family! Kaleb absolutely loved it and we cant wait to go back!

Happy 4th of July!

Hope everyone has had a wonderful and safe 4th of July!

I wanted to share my mantal and of course my little buddy dancing around in his holiday t-shirt!

I am proud of my mantal and that I only spent 5 dollars on the flag-star in the middle. I found that little piece at Big Lots. The rest of it was found around the house!

We enjoyed the 4th swimming and grilling out with family!

suyl- Dinning Rooms

My Dinning room consists of Antiques mostly.

My furniture was my great grandmothers. The round picture hanging on the wall was my grandmothers ( moms mom) and the china in the cabinet was a gift from a friend after the tornado. To her I believe it was a family members that had past. 

I love my dinning room even though it doesnt get used very often. Unless I am doing some craft project. All of my scrapbooking items and paints and ribbons are in the buffett. I have interest in making a new wreath to hang in between the windows. I would love a bright white one with a bold ribbon maybe?!? We will see.

Also in my dinning room, I have the laundry room attached. So the table becomes a folding station as well!

Absolutly love intials.. I have a C hanging, I have a C cheese board on the buffett and the letter C on the clear glass plates and the letter C on the back door hanging.

Got this idea off pinterest! Got the letter from Hobby lobby , the moss and ribbon from the dollar store. Hot glue and hang! Easy and Cheap!

OUR LITTLE WEEKEND

Friday after the hospital we got to drive up to Cullman, AL and have a little fun on Smith Lake!  

We got up Saturday morning and headed out on the water! We had a blast! Since the weather so super hot, we pretty much had to stay in the water the entire time.. Kaleb didnt mind the water, but hated his lifejacket!

Welcome Sweet Baby!

This past Thursday was one busy day for this little lady! I got to spend the day at the hospital to welcome a baby!! I got to be in the room with my sister and that was the best experience ever! I am so happy for them and so grateful for another healthy family member! We were for sure it was a girl before she had him ,  but I am so excited for another little boy to go hunting , fishing, and riding 4-wheelers with!! Bring on the outdoors!!

Welcome to the World Sweet baby Boy!!

Cael Alexander Jones was born thursday at 1:18 pm. He was 7 lbs 7 oz and 21 inchs long! Big Healthy baby boy!!

Here are some pictures of the delievery day and Friday when I took Mr. Kaleb there to meet his cousin.

My sister and brother n law are doing wonderful! They got to take him home saturday around lunch. They have enjoyed every minute of it!

SUYL- Kids Rooms

I haven't done well with Show us your life weekly posts. I need to catch up , dining rooms and master bedrooms.. But for now you can take a look at the nursery we put together for Kaleb before he was born! Hope you enjoy!

These pictures were before we even had the tea, so now there is lots of toys and extras in his room! We chose Dark cherry furniture from Babies R Us. I purchased the ladder shelf from Amazon.com and the rocker was my moms when she was pregnant with all of her childern. The bedding is transportation theme and it was from babies R Us as well. My sister painted the two pictures above his bed and my sister n law made us the diaper bag- GO Georgia Bulldogs!!
