What Christmas Looks like from The Chandler's

{cheese}

Every year we love to decorate for Christmas! I will handle the inside and Jake will handle the outside. One of my favorite things every year is buying a real tree. I love the smell of a fresh Christmas Tree inside the house! Jake absolutely loves to decorate the outside and make sure there are a ton of lights on the house! I think he did a fabulous job! My second favorite thing every year is the spirit I see come out in Jake. Like a kid with Santa!! =)

Merry Christmas to all!!
From my home to yours, I hope everyone has a wonderful time having fellowship with family and friends and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior!!

SURPRISE BABY SHOWER

Last weekend was the best! I stayed at Anna's house because it is so much help when Jake is gone to the club. Kaleb loves it there and I sleep like a rock there, so it works out =). Saturday morning we had already planned to shop together and leave the boys with Uncle Alex. He told me he would be fine, he would take them to the park and give them lunch and then come back for naps. I was a little worried and felt bad for leaving him with a tough job but he and Anna both assured me everything would work out. (the whole time they were lying to me. Alex got together with Pee Paw and Uncle Jordan and Levi for some play time at the park)
We left out and our first stop was Hobby Lobby. I wanted to run in and purchase some items to make her mobile for above the crib. Very cute I might add.. I little time consuming but perfect. So glad I decided to make her one!!
While we were in there, Anna seems a little rushed but I didn't think much of it. She mentioned she was hungry and I knew we were meeting Lindsey for lunch so I just assumed Lindsey was there and waiting on us. Anna decides to drive there. Fine by me, because sometimes I hate driving and my direction is terrible.
We arrive at Little Donkey in Homewood. Little Mexican restaurant that we wanted to try out. I saw Lindsey's car and I was pretty sure we had parked near a car that looked just like our friend Crystal's car. I still didn't think anything , because this is not unusual for us.
We walked in and I locked eyes with Lindsey across the room and waved. Followed by an immediate reaction of " holy crap.. there are a ton of people at the table with gifts" I was choked up with excitement. I started to cry and felt nervous.. I had no clue what was happening and/or going on. My MIL came over to me and gave me a big huge and welcomed me into the surprise baby shower!
I had no idea this was going to happen. I felt bad I had not really " dressed cute" for a shower.. ha! I dressed comfy for the sake of shopping all day! But I loved every minute of the shower and it meant the world to me that my friends and family came together for me and Lilly!
Thank you so much everyone !!!!

Hunting Club

Jake has alot of " extras" that he loves to go and do. ( hunting ( all of the above) , fishing, golf , traveling period) I do love this about him but at the same time I miss him a whole lot when he is gone!
This weekend we beautiful weather and Kaleb and I didn't have a whole lot planned so we decided to go with Jake to the club. I did ask for a couple of " chores" to get done off my "to do" list before we left. Jake took care of them and we had left for the club Saturday around lunch as soon as Kaleb's Christmas pictures were finished.
I am so glad we went. We all had such a great time! Being able to spend time with him is always wonderful but this one really meant alot because he is leaving for another hunting trip soon and going to be gone for a week!! So I soaked up as much family time as I could! =)
Saturday afternoon we all got our camo on and headed to the woods. We all took a bet to see how long Kaleb would last in the stand.. *30 minutes* but actually he loved it and we stayed out there alot longer than we both thought!!
It gets dark about 5:30 and we got back to camp around 5:15 so we lasted along time!!
We didn't see a deer, but Kaleb did get to see a Rabbit. =)

Here is some pictures of our little trip. * Photo Heavy*

Welcome to our club!

We we got there Kaleb had a snack and Big Daddy was telling him about the place.

There were showing Kaleb something. Not sure what?

Ready to Ride!!

Showing Kaleb something here. Not sure what??

We took Glory with us to give her a break from Charlie. She loves being here!

Playing in the dirt

Cheese Momma!

Jake sighted in his gun for his trip. I knew for sure this would scare Kaleb. We warned him it would be loud. But he didn't freak out or flinch at all.. he was fine with it.

Going out to the woods for the afternoon hunt!

When we got back we started dinner and Kaleb found this little truck in the cabin, He loved it because he would sing and make different noises.

We ended the night with a campfire and some snuggle time! =)

25 weeks

SIZE OF BABY:
Measures around 13 . 5 inches in length and weighs about a pound and a half. The size of a rutabaga.
( the fruit/veggie thing is so weird to me haha)

TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN/LOSS:
I had gained 15 pounds last visit when I was 23 weeks.

GENDER:
Baby Girl!! Lilly Kate Chandler

MOVEMENT:
Yes! She rolls and good bit more than kicks. There is certain times during the day when she does all the moving.

SYMPTOMS:
I feel really good. I have energy and I haven't gotten sick at all. I still have pains really low and in my bottom... but they are random. Sharp and quick.

CRAVING:
Nothing really. I love all foods!

WHAT I MISS:
Being able to cuddle with Jake and be comfortable in the bed/couch. Getting bigger gets so uncomfortable! and causes me not to sleep very well. I toose and turn and get up and sweat during the night!

WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TOO:
Thanksgiving dinner!! yummy food!!
and
Having a completed nursery! I love all the details we have thought of and I am so anxious to pull it all together!

My next doctor's appointment is November 21st. This one is my glucose test! I hope and pray everything is great and I pass!!

The next time I go ( around 28 weeks) Ill have an ultrasound done to check the placenta and see if it has moved. I pray it has! When I had talked with my doctors before they didn't seem concerned and told me it has plenty of time to move out of the way. I heard about placenta previa (you can google it) a couple of days ago and decided to look it up. SCARYness... No wonder my nurse/doctor didn't want to tell me much and freak me out! There is a chance it may can cause bleeding and early emergency c-section with alot of other details. But I am truely trying not to think about any of that, and focus on the present. Presently, I am doing fine with no signs for trauma for me or Lilly. I know everything is in the Lord's Hands and we will be fine =)
